Calling all Orange Families!

It's time again for...

THE ORANGE INTERNATIONAL STREET FAIR!

We hope you are doing well, staying safe and healthy. We are excited that the 2021 Orange International Street Fair (OISF) is going to happen this year.  The OISF is from Friday, September 3rd to Sunday September 5th. But, Orange Youth Sports (OYS) has already been hard at work for a few months to prepare for this year's fair.

At the beginning of the 2021 OLL season, like they do every year, OYS donated funds earned at Polynesian Street to Orange Little League (OLL) to keep OLL registration costs low, and to cover season start-up costs. So we are asking OLL families to help us this year by volunteering at Polynesian St.

This year a few things are changing on Polynesian St.  We have partnered with El Modena Football Boosters to bring Polynesian St. to the fair this year.  This change means that we are not be asking for volunteers for the food booth this year.  We do still need load, unload, setup, teardown, and beer booth volunteers.  This is where you come in.

We are using SignUpGenius to manage the volunteers this year.  Both OYS and El Modena Football Boosters are using the same signup system, so you will see the opportunities to sign up for food booth shifts.  But, please don't sign up for food booth shifts, leave those for El Modena Football Boosters to fill.

We need volunteers to make this year's OYS Polynesian Street a success.  We have over 120 shifts of various jobs to fill, most of them are working at the Beer booth.  The OISF is a happy, party atmosphere, and OYS does all we can to make working in the beer booth fun and easy.  Many people who no longer have kids playing at OLL still come back and work at Polynesian St. because of the fond memories they have of working in years past. Descriptions of the volunteer positions can be found below.

If you would like to register a group, family, team, etc. to fill all/most of the shifts for a given time slot that would be great! It’s a great way to get your team from last season together one more time.  We need to fill at least the number of slots in one shift on the schedule, but if you have a bigger group we can probably accommodate you. Let us know if you want to register a group and the shift you want doesn’t have enough space.

Thanks, ORANGE LITTLE LEAGUE and ORANGE YOUTH SPORTS!

Click here to go to the SignUpGenius, and volunteer for a shift (or several shifts 😁).
